Tri St Amand-Dun 18

This week has definitely being an extremely exciting one in terms of my triathlon career. I have just signed a contract with a French team, Tri St Amand-Dun 18, to compete in the devision 1 French Grand Prix races in 2012.

The French Grand Prix series consists of 5 sprint distance races located across France. I will be travelling to Les Sables D'Olonne, Dunkerque, Toulouse and Paris for the first four races of the series. I will also be competing in a devision 1 duathlon in Rodez as part of the St Amand-Dun 18 duathlon team.

I am so thrilled to be a part of the team and race in my hot pink tri suit! I cannot wait to meet Thierry, Pierre, Julien and the rest of the team when I arrive in Paris at the end of April. A huge thank you to the team for giving me such an amazing opportunity!

Back to business.

After a week of recovering from a very successful triathlon season, I am finally back into training again. I spent my week at the beach and catching up with friends, things I wouldn't normally have the chance to do with my busy training schedule. Without a doubt though, the best part was sleeping in past 4.40 each morning!

I am very excited about the upcoming season and know that it will be full of successes and personal accomplishments.
